I have the Snoozer Lookout 1. I bought it for my Pom puppy because she got sick in the car when she couldn't see out. She LOVES it, and I love it! She's almost 13 years old now, and so is her Snoozer. I have replaced the cover once, and I replaced the harness hook after I left the old one in a car that I traded in. I've discovered it's good to have a replacement cover on hand so that one can be washed. Might consider that when buying your new seat. My lil girl has travelled with me across the country in hers. It allows her to change position easily, gives her a comfortable place to sit, eat, and sleep on long trips or short excursions, and I feel good knowing she's safer and I'm safer not having to hold her while driving. I highly recommend it, in fact I have, and my relatives have them also. It has been wonderful!
