The seat fits onto the console of my car, however the straps, particularly the one that goes onto the lid does not fit. The tongue of the buckle is adjustable, but the clip is not. Unfortunately, this results in not being able to close the lid. If both were adjustable, i could position the buckle under the lid so it does not prevent the lid from closing. If the front seats of the car were in a forwardmost position, they would work fine, however because both driver and passenger have long legs, the seats are positions a bit further back. This results in the console seat being pulled to the rear of the console and ends up with about 3" overhang on the back of the console -- resulting in alot of shifting and movement of the seat. As a result, my dog is refusing to use the seat and I have no other solutions.
