I haven't had the orthopedic bed long enough to give a complete review, but so far so good. I see why people are saying the cover is too big and it wrinkles, but it is very heavy duty canvas with a heavy duty zipper. It's somewhat difficult to put on the foam, but that's ok. I hope the heavy duty zipper lasts because it was somewhat difficult to get zipped in places. The 7 inch foam is fantastic for my 14 year old German Shepherd mix and she only likes beds with Sherpa on the top. No accidents so far, but I did wash it before I put it on the foam and set it outside to dry and it washed fine. I'll try to edit this as time goes on to give a more comprehensive review. So far I'm happy with it!
