Just replaced car seats, in both cars, that I had for 7 years. Covers were still good. Foam was wearing and breaking on seams. Still worked but I figured my girl deserved new. Tip: I seldom have passengers in my back seats, so I place the seat in the center of the back seats and cross a seat belt over from EACH side. The seats don’t move. My dog loves sitting and facing forward looking out the front window between the front seats. I seldom use the harness (which I know is safer in case of crash), and she never jumps out to look out the side windows. She jumps right into the seat as soon as the door opens.
