I have 2 shih tzu's One is 7 lbs and the other is 5 lbs. I bought the medium so they could sit together. They usually sit on our laps when we take them places so I wasn't sure they'd like it. They love it! We went on vacation last week and they were so happy to have a comfy seat to sit in and it's tall enough that they could hang their heads out the window. Highly recommend.
