The experience was new to me but I was immediately made to feel welcome by the friendly staff and the atmosphere of the studio was lively with unobtrusive music. The make-up session was brief and the stylist was friendly and efficient. I felt comfortable with the photographer who gave clear and precise instructions over four different shoots/looks and I felt that we built up a good connection with each other. The follow-up interview involved an appraisal of how the sessions went; it wasn’t at all intimidating and I was very happy with the outcomes of the conversation and the photographs which I was shown. The deposit was returned promptly to my account - an email that afternoon indicated that the process would take 3-5 days and I received it on the third working day. The whole session lasted 3 1/2 hours and it bridged over lunchtime so I took sandwiches which was an appropriate way have lunch...and their coffee machine makes the best coffee I’ve ever had from a machine. Overall it was an interesting and positive experience and I would recommend anyone signing up for the process to approach it with a positive attitude - you’ll get from it what you put into it.
