We stayed at Maestranza for a week and our experience of Solaga and the apartment were great. The service and communication from Solaga and the owner of the property were excellent from start to finish. The property itself was comfortable and clean and in a fantastic location! The owner was very friendly and spoke good English. She met us promptly at the apartment at the beginning and end of our week and there were no problems with getting our deposit back. The apartment is five minutes walk from the beach and Muelle Uno and the area is peaceful with a few really nice local restaurants. There's a small supermarket across the road but we preferred the larger one, Mercadona, which is about five minutes by foot. The walk into the old town of Malaga was only about 15 minutes and it was a lovely stroll through the park. We had no problems with any noise whatsoever, we could not hear anything from the street. The building is not great when it comes to soundproofing but the residents seemed to be respectful of each other. The only time we heard anything was each evening the neighbours were having dinner, there was some chatter and sounds from behind our bedroom wall but this all finished around 10pm and it really wasn't a problem at all. I would like to add, I am a very light sleeper and any noise will be a problem for me, and I had no issues. There were just a couple of suggestions I would like to make for improvements; The apartment could do with having a little vacuum cleaner as coming back from the beach you tend to bring grains of sand back in your shoes/ clothes! Also, the bathroom could do with having just one shelf where you can put your toiletries. Also, there is a dishwasher so it would be nice if the owner could leave just 2-3 dishwasher tablets so that the customer doesn't have to pay for a large box of these. Other than that it was all perfect! Great size kitchen too with all necessary utilities! I would highly recommend this apartment!
