No, don’t take any of Springboard’s courses. They have the worst course design, a scammy Job Guarantee, and the laziest, most biased mentors, career coaches, advisors, and other staff.
They hire a bunch of rude, condescending European immigrants in North America, or people who have lived their lives in Europe or the UK, as low-quality mentors, career coaches, and other staff. It’s very condescending towards people of certain races/ethnicities, even if your English is much better their theirs, and you’re way more Western than they are. Their brains can’t process. Then they're suddenly super nice, respectful, and play favorites towards their own race/ethnicity, or whatever they like better.
The mentor model is terrible, and means you need the assigned mentor to approve of your mini projects, and get it graded by a grader, before you move on to the next step. Same with career coaches, who are just glorified office assistants who probably know much less about careers and the job search than you do, but put themselves way above you. If the mentor or coach looks down on you, due to their own stupidity, narrow-mindedness, and blind spots, then good luck.
This course and bootcamp is terribly run, and has high turnover. Employees, mentors, and coaches are low-end, lazy, and even insanely unethical. They seem to operate in terms of getting paid, and being the laziest possible, and hateful towards students they look down on, for no reason other than their own preferences and biases. They’re very tribal and have an in-group mentality.
Boycott Springboard, and probably any other bootcamps.
