I would NOT do business with this company. Be warned. I was guaranteed a fire pit to be delivered within 5 days. When I saw it had not been shipped I called. I was told, quite rudely, That they had a fire pit for Me but it would not be shipped for another week as they had to communicate with their supplier. It took almost two months to receive the unit. Curbside delivery when you live in a brownstone is boston requires coordination to get help bringing the unit up a very narrow staircase. I was called and given a day the unit would be here. It never arrived. I received a call from The delivery company telling me the drive - forgot! I rescheduled delivery. Yes them had to coordinate a mew date and time for my plumber to install. $1,000 later the plumber notified me a part was Missing. I immediately Try calling the manufacturer, the line was out of service so I called starfire direct. I spoke with a customer “service” rep. Who told Me she would Now have to open a ticket- another week long process- I then received a message from her telling me that they could Not get through to the manufacturer either. About a week later I received an email Asking for photos. Yes am away a good amount of time and was. Able to send pictures as I was not at the apartment. I called and let them know that. I returned today, immediately called starfire direct only to speak with the one of the most condescending “lead service reps” who asked that I send him Photos and explained their process to me yet again. I am an executive in an extremely complex industry and did not appreciate being spoken to like a child. Photos were sent and he came to the same conclusion that we came to a month ago. He said “I’ll tell you what o am going to do, we will take care of you- I will send you the correct hose for FREE” seriously. Yes requested compensation for a unit I have been completel unable to use due to star fire not having their employees follow the same procedures. He was extremely rude, beyond rude and told Me that procedure had not been followed. Already know that. He refused to expedite the missing part and then refused to let me speak with whom he reports to. He then, Steven , is his name, felt the need to remind me of his lead rep status as if he were the be all and end all units of this company. He then hung up on me. I still have a useless fire pit. Bottom line pay attention to the reviews. These people are crooks, have horrible customer service and are about the rudest people I have ever done business with.
