The propane fire pit that came with a patio furniture set I was given had an air mixer that was just abs open section in the tubing and all the burner holes faced down. The old burner wouldn’t burn clean and even after adjustment the flame would progress back and ignite under the table at the mixer. I replaced with a Starfiire unit and it has a nice Venturi mixer and is very well built. It fit perfect in my existing fire pit table and worked great. Nice clean burn and very safe. I’m very pleased with the burner assembly.
