I bought a dress online for an event and they did not disclose the brand. That was issue #1. I'm trying to return the dress and I'm told that: 1.) I have to email or call for a label. 2.) I will have to pay to make the return despite their, "free returns" plastered all over the checkout screen. 3.) They only give store credit which WAS NOT disclosed at checkout. I found the dress much cheaper at Macy's which made me feel ripped off as they're usually more expensive. I'm already very annoyed and will do what it takes to get my money back. Any store that only offers credit unless it's a no receipt or past return policy situation is shady. I have no stores near me and I do not regularly shop at Stein Mart so, the credit is of no use.
