I saw Steinmart had been added as a vendor offering teacher discounts in October. I purchased items on a debit card. They have been horrible. I will never purchase from them again. They never emailed me that one item was out of stock. It just never came and when I emailed them, they said, oh, it was not available. They only wanted to give me a credit - for items never received. I demanded a refund for that item. I got a refund 3 weeks later. Their emails always say something like we have too many inquiries and will be back with you soon. I had other items in the order. I sent them back. I do not have my money back, nor any answers from them. I cannot reach them with any phone number I see for them online. The customer rep I dealt with is not responding to me. My bank said they can email a letter requesting Steinmart contact the bank. No response has been given back, not even to my bank. I am out $102 roughly. I always loved the brick and mortar stores. How terrible of them to take advantage of people, us teachers, who don't make a lot of money to begin with.
