Weddings are expensive, but wedding dresses are so overpriced it's absurd. I went to a few bridal boutiques in San Francisco and found that most of the new dresses in my $3,000 budget looked like prom dresses or used really cheap fabric. I started to look online for used dresses so that I could get the most bang for my buck. I looked casually for a few months, but I finally found my dream dress on Stillwhite! It could not have been easier and I could not be more excited. It's a gorgeous Marchesa gown that not only was never worn (the bride ended up going with a different dress), but was also 75% off retail price because she bought it in 2016. I tried using other preowned wedding websites but found that other sites were either too expensive because of the commission they get from the sale, or the site was way too hands-off and I worried about being scammed. I felt like I was in good hands and trust that if anything goes on, the mandatory Paypal insurance and Stillwhite will help me through. I will (hopefully!) never have to use this website again, but I have already sung its praises to all of my engaged friends.
