For the price this is a decent cheap alternative to the more expensive memory foam mattresses. I purchased a twin for my toddler daughter and for her it's fine but my husband and I currently have the Nest Love & Sleep (king size about 3 years old) and frankly they are not the same. The lack of support around the edges of the mattress drive me crazy. It's soft and comfortable once your lie down however I don't feel like it gives me the same support as the the Nest mattress. Sitting on it I always feel as though I'm sliding off (I'm not a big person) again not an issue for my 35lb daughter. I would purchase this mattress over a traditional spring mattress no doubt. If you're on a budget this is a good alternative BUT with that if you can afford to spend a little more then I really think you're better off long term.
