Avoid Avoid ... Summer Garden Buildings ...Avoid Avoid I made the mistake of buying a gazebo from this company. Please make sure you ask all the relevant questions. For this is what they did not tell or share with me : 1. That their products are made of the soft wood Spruce a member of the Pine family which is then laminated to make it stronger. 2. That as an online retailer they do not make the products that they sell. 3. The products are made abroad not here in England 4. The product that I ordered was made of the same wood as the pallet it was delivered on. 5. That sat at their desks they simply go to the manufactuers website and place your order v an app. In other words just as you browse the webpages of Summer Garden Buildings they then browse the pages of their chosen manufacturers or flip thru the pages of the manufacturers brochure to choose the product that you want or have ordered 6. They change all the names of the products on their website so that there is no actual reference to the manufacturer 7. Other Agents of the manufacturer of the product I purchased do not change the names and actually accredit the manufacturer as the maker. 8. The actual manufacturer give choices that Summer Garden Buildings do not give their customers. There is so much more I could share with you. I strongly suggest that you do not use this company. What I found most galling was when I called to question the quality of the product I had received. They simply said "had I asked they would have told me" So please make sure you ask all the relevant questions. Do not believe what you read on their website. And believe when I say, that with a multi million pound annual turnover, they know exactly what they do and continue to avoid transparency by wording the writeup of the products on their website in a specific noncommittal way. They at Summer Garden Buildings did everything in their power to prevent my returning the product to them by manipulating the truth and the facts again and again. I have now been given a refund. But, I got it v the small claims court. Fortunately, the judge found in my favour. Please do not make the same mistakes that I did ... x
