Bought a special offer of bedding plugs and was informed they had left nursery on Monday, the day before my call. Arrived here on Thursday afternoon in a sorry state.
About 50% were non existent in the plugs and the rest were miniscule and on the point of collapse. Didn't expect the Chelsea Flower Show but I thought I could at least grow them on. Ended up on compost heap with about 20 plants salvageable.
