On Monday 18th of March, I bought 6 summer tops on sale from Tuggeranong ACT. I like the clothes at Suzanne Grae and shop there regularly. This time though I didn't expect it to come to so much, however I was in a hurry so didn't query it. When I got home I found out I had been overcharged by $20. Today I went back to the store, a different sales person was there. I brought my receipt in along with the 6 items I had purchased.
I explained that I had been overcharged, the woman was rude and seemed annoyed, she said 'No you haven't that's correct.' I pointed to an item on the receipt and told her I hadn't bought anything for $29.95.
She then scanned all my items and said that one of my sale items had come up at the orginal price and not the sale price.
Without an apology to me she said she would refund me the $20. Her customer service skills were non existent.
I felt like saying while you are there you can pay for my petrol to return to Suzanne Grae. I felt really taken back by her attitude, she seemed to want to intimidate me, for saying I had been overcharged and initially she made me feel silly, like I didn't know what I was talking about.
The previous sales person that I encountered on Monday was nice and helpful but unfortunately she wasn't working today.
The whole experience was awful and I will have 2nd thoughts about shopping there again.
