I ordered this bracelet for in-store pickup because the website said that the Collins St store had it in stock. This seemed perfect, because I needed it by the next day.
Unfortunately, when I went the next day to pick it up, they told me that there was a problem with the website, and it was actually coming from Singapore, since they don’t have the stock. This was already incredibly frustrating, and I found the response from the Collins St store to be disappointing.
A week later, I have now picked it up from the store. I ticked the gift wrap option and paid extra for it, only to discover at pick up that the ‘gift wrap’ is only adding a ribbon to the handle of the bag? No tissue paper, no wrapping, nothing. I had to request tissue paper, which was provided, and then had to repack it myself. Absolutely not worth $5, and I would like a refund for the gift wrap cost.
I was also shocked that when I arrived for pick up, they fetched my order from the back and it was still in the cardboard post box. It hadn’t been opened or checked until I was there, and the lady who assisted me then had to spend time fixing the packaging when it could have been prepared before I was sent the pick up email.
I have never shopped with Swarovski before, and I never will again based on this experience! As someone who has worked in luxury stores, the Swarovski standards seem incredibly low. Very disappointing.
