Booked via lakes cottages which on bank statement shows as Sykes. Again like many on here couldn't go for New Year as lockdown. Refused an alternative cottage for this next new year as the original one was booked. Refused a refund of the price which we had paid £659 they asked for another £187 if we wanted to book for 2022! Even had insurance booked through them but apparently it dosent cover cancellation through pandemic. Absolute Nightmare of a company. Thankfully the credit card company have now been able to reimburse us.
