Received all the expected confirmation Emails, yet a call from the company that the property isn't available and told that the owner of the property needed it that day. Sykes Holiday Cottages, you are wasting my time, it's painful enough picking the right location, to then have to spend a day working through suggested alternatives, refunds policies and complaints, just to get back to square one. If you are advertising the property, it is your responsibility to make sure it is available, don't pass the buck on the property owner. And to offer it as a non-refundable booking, yet decide you have the freedom to cancel it yourself when you don't have control of your inventory.
