Booked for 7th June to 14th June 2024 for 7 days. Arrived at 4.00pm expecting to meet Sian as per e mail they never arrived so managed to get in using key box. Inside it was fine apart from a strong damp smell which we tried to overcome by getting a plug in from the co op. Then at around 8.00pm the pub next door started playing music which meant you could not hear the TV and you were not going to sleep until it was finished. Not knowing if this would go on every night we packed up and went home. Contacted Sykes this morning and told them about the damp and asked why we were not told about possible noise from the pub and we have received a response saying no compensation would be offered. I have also realised that I have left my coat there and have requested it be sent to me at my expense but so far no reply. We do feel that we could have been warned about the music before booking.
