I was deducted £140 from the Good House Keeping Bond with no evidence other than a picture of 3 pillow cases and 1 dressing down that had orange marks on them. We never noticed such marks, do not own or use any products that could have cause that type of stain. Despite this Sykes are powerless to act, they deduct money as long as proof of damage and an invoice for the replacement cost is provided, there is no need for the owners to prove that it was caused by the customer. Do not believe that Sykes are on your side and do not trust the owners.
