Looking at their cancellation policy Sykes Cottages obviously don't see Covid-19 as a health risk to either the property owner, the surrounding area or their clients. I've looked at changing dates as I really would like to stay at the cottage in the future but to do so I'm now looking at October at the earliest with a nice price hike. Which I could understand if it were not for the fact when I find a week which is £100 less I would not be refunded the difference. A good way of covering the "no charge to change" offer and a tidy profit out of the situation. I feel for the property owners but it looks as if Sykes Cottages are taking advantage of a very serious crisis.
