Booked a holiday through Sykes before the lockdown and paid a deposit. When lockdown happened asked Sykes not to take the balance, but they went ahead and did so despite knowing that we would not be able to take the holiday. They then sent an email telling me that I could change the booking date, but only for the same property. I tried doing this, but the property was unavailable for the whole of 2021!
I have since tried emailing Sykes again, but rather than get a response to my query, they told me to visit my booking and change the date of travel. Totalling disregarding my advice that the property could not be re-booked as it was unavailable.
I tried calling them, but an automated message informed me that they had disconnected the phones whilst dealing with a backlog of holidaymakers trying to amend their bookings.
Today, May 16, I received three emails from Sykes asking me to book a holiday through them! Fat Chance - Book with these Crooks - NEVER!!!!!
