So i paid a £30 deposit on a cottage for 10th July. Given we were taking my in-laws who are over 80, and self isolating, we do not feel we can go. Sykes emailed me today telling me that they are taking the balance at the end of May, but i can log into my account to change.
So this is where it goes wrong, as i tried and it wont let me as its more than 30 days before i'm due to go away, but by then, they will have my full payment.
If i try and cancel, they suddenly want to charge me £250, not £30.
I cant ring them, no reply, i cant email them (cant find a contact).
This is disgusting service and apart from the fact i will never use them again, i feel left high and dry.
