I am not happy about the way I have been treated by Sykes Cottages!! They took the full balance from my account in April for a cottage booked in May which they knew I would not be able use do to the "Coronavirus Travel Restrictions." They misled me into claiming what I thought would be a full refund for my holiday and then withheld nearly £200 in booking and commission fees. They seem to think that witholding fees for a future booking is a "goodwill gesture." The "ex-gratia" credit terms and conditons threaten the withheld fees will be void if any action is taken to reclaim a full refund. This is not good service in any shape or form!!
