I am very disgusted and gobsmacked at sykes cottages i had a holiday booked in July for me and 7 others we are 8 people from 5 different households and i tried to cancel it as 2 of them are elderly one is on the vulnerable list having had cancer just to be told that we could as from now go on holiday in one cottage 8 people from 5 different households ( one from Newcastle and rest from Cumbria )yet i at present can not even go in my mums house , then they took £509.20 out of my bank within minutes as i can cancelled it was either that or i pay the full amount not bothered about the elderly catching covid 19 . Orchard Cottage Durham , i will not be going there again and i really thought they were nice people from their reviews how wrong can one be when it comes to money.And if you do go on holiday there check how they are with covid19 requirements as sykes are not bothered.
