I recently traveded 11 hours to Scotland. The intention was to stay in a cottage on loch lochy. The first issue was that I was given a post code 12 miles away from the destination. After eventually finding the cottage, we discovered that it had not been cleaned from the previous tenants. Sykes where unable to organise a cleaning team ( it was 7pm by now. We Started travelling at 6.30am) due to covid we refused to stay. I have received a full refund and £20 compensation without any fuss. Fortunately we managed booked alternative accommodation
