On a Wednesday evening I found that systemsat.co.uk had the satellite dish, LNB and motor I wanted in stock, and ordered them for free delivery to my East Sussex address.
I received an email at 12.48 the next day from systemsat saying that a shipment with the three items had been despatched, with a tracking number starting "YODEL-JD00" followed by four other groups of numbers separated by spaces. Yodel online did not recognise the number either with or without "YODEL-".
At 21.30 on the same day I received another email from systemsat saying that the dish (no mention of LNB and motor) was being sent using Despatch Bay. The tracking number began "JJD000" and had no spaces.
That number was recognised immediately by Despatch Bay online, and two days later my puzzlement about the delivery (I had never heard of Despatch Bay before) was lessened by the sixth report from DESPATCH BAY which ended "Gatwick Service Centre (yodel)" !
Monday 9.53 DESPATCH BAY online reported delivery would be within the next 24 hours.
Monday 10.40 systemsat.co.uk emailed to say that the dish was out for delivery (no mention of other items). Monday 10.48 DESPATCH BAY online reported “Driver En Route”.
All three items were delivered on Monday afternoon (within three normal delivery days), in a stout box more than big enough for the 1-metre dish.
Despite one or two small problems in my understanding of the delivery process, I was very pleased with the SystemSat service generally and have bookmarked their website.
