Do not go by the 4.9 stars they show on here. Their service is appalling. I have had nothing but issues from day one of signing up with them. They lied to say that their terminal could carry out same features as the till we previously had which is a lie. Then had various battery issues over the Xmas period with new charging bases and new batteries. Then software issues which they like to pass the buck over as EVO issue. Surprise surprise, EVO claim it is an issue with Takepayments. Told we need a new terminal which has a delivery time of 3 days. Next day only applies to new customers. Not the existing customers who are now stuck in a 18 month contract. Tied in so customer service doesn’t matter. When the new terminal does arrive the courier wants the old one in exchange. Don’t do this if this situation arises. Wait until the email is fully working taking payments. For us this new terminal doesn’t take payments and they again put the blame down to software issues with EVO. Now we are again waiting another 3 working days with no terminal over a weekend. Losing business here now as we cannot take payments. Our business is 99% on card and now we are losing customers to the completion due to the incompetence of this company. Refuse to release us from the contract even though they cannot provide us the service we need. Very frustrating as only 2 months into an 18 month contract
