Criminals / Scammers.
Booked a taxi through Taxicode for an airport transfer and they took payment right away. Hours went by, no taxi confirmed. This was time sensitive, so dropped them an email and called Customer Service.
We were assured we would get a driver assigned within 2 hours. This did not happen. Called back hours later to be met with an incredibly rude and forceful Customer Service agent who was straight up lying to us. They said it is confirmed on their end, although I had the booking in front of me, saying unconfirmed. He said to email him the screenshot, which I did, and obviously he claimed he did not receive it. I requested a refund seeing as it was not confirmed, and they refused and said it would be a full cancellation fee, even though they were unable to accommodate the trip. He said he would ensure a driver is assigned by 8pm and if it isnt then call him back as he was apparently working until 10pm. No driver was assigned, gave them a call, and their customer service phone line had closed. Lies upon lies.
It gets worse.... We then got a text saying we DID have a driver - they had just booked an Uber. I live in an area we do not have Uber, so obviously no Uber driver accepted the job, so come 5am when the pick up was due, no one was there.
So, train, bus and flight missed due to Taxicode, and they are refusing to refund. The most rude and agressive customer service agents who lie to you. They take your money and do nothing.
They are criminals, scammers and fraudsters.
Avoid at all costs.
