Bought a pair of bHatics Tactosy arms for using with PCVR. The actual haptics of these are pretty naff to be honest, and if anything take you out of the experience rather than adding any real immersion to the experience. Tested them on Halflife Alyx and Skyrim and really wanted to like them, but they are nowhere near worth the asking price (of £300 at time of writing).
Unfortunately, Tekzone have a pretty strict returns policy that prohibits the return of "wearable items" which seems pretty harsh in this day and age considering they are wearable on the arms, and not the ears or face etc. I'm stuck with £300 worth of e-waste essentially. I realise that technically I am in the wrong, because I should have read the T's and C's; but for me it's just another reason to go fund Jeff Bezos' ahem, interestingly shaped rocket program rather than to support smaller retailers with outdated returns policies. A quick Google shows that even the first few other retailers that sell the bHaptics products all offer returns in the first 14 days as standard no questions asked, so there is literally no reason to buy from this company instead.
The customer services person Jacob who broke the good news was very polite and quite helpful though so that's something.
