Accepting that the pandemic was outside of Teletexts control I agreed for my holiday to be moved rather than asking for a refund. It was moved on two occasions, the second time I incurred an additional charge of £85, which I immediately paid. However, it was only when turning up at the airport, my departure date has arrived and we were approved ok to travel, I was told by the check in staff that I wasn’t on the passenger list. Worse still… that Teletext had cancelled my flights received a full refund and has not bothered to tell me. By this point I’d incurred an extra £200 charges for PCR tests that were not needed; given Teletext had cancelled our flights some time before!! I have spoken to Teletext on numerous occasions and have been promised a full refund however I have so far only received the £85 I was charged for moving my holiday. Absolutely unbelievable!! I think for me I will need to pursue legal action which is another hassle I did not need. Never again will I use teletext which is a shame as I’ve used them in the past and never had an issue.
