Received an email today after booking to go to New York in April 2020. Due to the COVID-19 issue we are no longer able to and the trip was cancelled. Received an email today (below) and after contacting TeleText they asked me to rebook. I'm not sure whether the representative has been waiting the news, but booking to go to New York now seems like the worst piece of advice I have ever received. I was told (verbally) I have a credit note for a year. I asked to have this in writing as I am yet to receive this information. A follow up email should be sent to me in 48 hours. Watch this space. I would much prefer a refund and not have to worry about rebooking. Looks like I may have to go through travel insurance.
