Disgusting company constantly told to be patient! Paid in full for our flights and hotel all inclusive on 23/02/20 flight out 22nd April for 10 nights but because of coronavirus airline/teletext cancelled all, have emailed teletext about 20 times and was told by them they couldn’t refund my credit card as they were themselves waiting for airline and hotel to refund themselves! Although they refused to answer my question as to whether they had actually even paid the airline ( although I think they probably did ) but I doubt whether they actually paid the company that teletext got to book the hotel with ( hotel beds.com) they just offer me a credit note to book another holiday at a later date, which I have told them at least 12 times I am not interested in accepting anything other than a full refund to my credit card, they just ignore it, even though I have told them this holiday was to be my final one as I am 74 years old in 6 weeks time and the final holiday for my wife also. Most people are experiencing financial problems with the deathly virus more so with us as pensioners yet teletext have had our money for many months and still are ignoring our plea for a refund, they are the worst company I have ever dealt with they should never have had Atol attached to their company, I have informed them I will take this appalling behaviour to as many routes I can, I tend to think they may well be hoping that some of its customers die so as to not ever refund. I find it difficult to believe also that all the credit card companies are actually allowing teletext to continue to use their payment system.
