We are 11 girls due to fly to Ibiza on the 20/5/20 I contacted the hotel a few weeks ago and was told they had no plans to open in May/June: They also told me Truly Travel do not pay them till the end of the season. teletext still insisted our holiday was not cancelled. Then Ryan air cancelled our flights. I wrote to teletext holidays straight away to request a refund! No reply. Yesterday they email saying as your holiday is cancelled we will issue a voucher!! We can’t claim our money back till after 31st August!! I understand that they need to get the
Money back from Ryan Air but as they haven’t paid our hotel yet they should at least refund that in the legal time frame. They don’t reply to call/ emails!! Terrible customer service and they need to remember that people will remember how they have treated customers. Amongst our group are NHS staff and Police officers. We all worked hard to pay for our holiday which was paid up in advance of the pandemic!! Please give us our £6000 back!
