You are breaking the law and I would be very interested to hear your defence in court. You will have to degend the fact that:-
You continue to ignore the law. You have closed phone lines. Rude aggresive calls from India. Webchat where responses are automated. Refusal to refund customers whos travel date was as long ago as March! Insisting that customers accept worthless credit notes. Sending said credit notes despite customers advising that they require cash refunds.
Continuing to take payments from accounts against holidays that are cancelled. Insisting on final payments against booked holidays in full knowledge that theses holidays will not go ahead.
Advising customers that if these payments are not made they will be in breach of contract and as such responsible for 100% of the cost.
Teletext have failed to provide a service as per the contract and are failing to adhere to the terms and conditions of that contract. I fear your defence will be weak to say the least.
You are duty bound to refund your customers in full as per European and consumer law.
