I called our hotel to check on facilities and expectations when we arrive...on Monday 13th July to Lanzarote. Flights a re still live and asking for us to check in...The hotel is closed until August 1st. no alternative accommodation suggested. Teletext have been my provider for 20 years. I am not happy with them right now.
I have been calling for support and on hold for three days now! And have emailed so many times I've lost count. Why would I consider flying out to a country where I know there is no available accommodation? Am I missing something here? I have an autistic son and have prepared him for this holiday along with my partner. I have had no response at all from Teletext support team, I have spoken with several who have just transferred me and I have sat on hold for hours and hours to no avail! Most phone numbers do not work or are on a loop... they answer if you press option 1 for new sales but no one is available for customer support option 2!! its appalling, they really should be dealing with existing customers first surely? I want a refund a postponement or a replacement Hotel is this too much to ask?? I will be seeking advice from Citizens Advice and if necessary the Ombudsman. and the 1 star was only so i could write a review !
