ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE!! WILL NEVER USE AGAIN!
Wrote them numerous emails stating I wished for a refund. All replies stated only credit vouchers will be offered, and then if not taken up they would give a refund from 31 July. This date then moved back to August.
I contacted Resolver and this had no effect. I sent letters to Head Office and the CEO giving them notice I would be taking legal action if I didn't get a helpful reply - this had no effect.
However, I contacted my credit card provider and after they declined my claim twice, on the third attempt they finally agreed to do a Chargeback. As I paid some money in my Visa Debit, my bank also provided a Chargeback. So I am hoping to receive the entire amount back in full.
In the past I have actually used TT to book holidays and didn't have any problems - NOW I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN.
I would advise anyone who wants a refund due to Covid to contact their credit card company or bank to pursue a Chargeback. Teletext WILL NOT give a refund themselves!
