WARNING! NEVER BOOK A HOLIDAY WITH TELETEXT HOLIDAYS! I booked a holiday through Teletext Holidays to Croatia in Jan 2020, costing a total of £2999.00. , I have sent numerous emails to Teletext Holidays and have nothing but generic responses from them that say’s absolutely nothing about myself receiving a refund – I received an email from Their customer services team (Saj Ahmed) on the 30th July that stated the following:
Dear Customer,
Your refund request has been received and we would like to thank you for your continued patience during this time.
There are a high volume of customer requests to manage but please be assured we will be responding to your request by Wed 5th August with further details regarding your refund.
Please do not send further emails as this will delay our response.
We are grateful for your patience during this time and assure you of our closest attention at all times.

I did as I was asked and waited until today the 5th of August to be STALLED yet again! I want and Need my refund ASAP, as stated many times in my emails to your selves of which I am entitled too!
Since the 8th of July I have emailed teletext Holidays several times and sent several to your compliance department, customer care department and customer relations department and had absolutely no response!
I contacted Teletext Holidays on the 8th July 2020 to ask you to process a refund for our holiday as Easyjet confirmed that they had cancelled our out bound flight – therefore making it impossible for us to physically go on holiday to Croatia. I actually contacted the hotel we were supposed to be staying at as I was worried teletext had not informed them just in case Teletext had not contacted them to cancel our booking and process our refund – they replied stating that they could not even find a reservation for us! Unbelievable! Teletext just keep fobbing me off via Facebook messenger saying you cannot or will not issue our refund until you receive the monies back from your suppliers!
As far as I am concerned I booked our package holiday through t Teletext Holidays and they replied stating that you don’t book hotels/accommodation directly - NOT MY PROBLEM, I am entitled to a full refund and I do not want a credit note and do not want to rebook a holiday for later in the year!! You are legally obliged to refund me within 14 days … as stated on the BBC News today!
As far as I am concerned you at Teletext holidays are using every excuse under the sun to stall paying me back my refund for the full amount of £2999.00, for the above holiday, which included flights and accommodation. I spoke with a foreign lady last Thursday (23/07/20) and she did not mention that you used a third party to book the accommodation and she also did not mention that we would be given a credit note instead of a cash refund! I definitely don’t want a credit note and as pointed out in my many previous communications with yourselves via email, phone calls and Facebook Messenger it states in your terms and conditions that if a multi package holiday has been booked through yourselves that YOU are fully responsible for the booking and should pay back any refunds owed and we should not be expected to wait for you to receive refunds from your suppliers!
I am absolutely shocked and appalled by Teletext’s lack of customer support – this whole process has been a nightmare!
