Do not book a holiday with teletext! I was meant to go on holiday in may and still haven’t had a refund. The legal amount of time for a refund is 14 days from departure. I have been ringing teletext up weekly to ask for updates and every operator tells me a different story as to why I have not received it (if they pick the phone up that is). We were poised the refund for August the 30th which never came. When we rang up they said it was due to the bank holiday so it will be in our account on the 2nd. On the 4th I rang up to chase this, another operator told me that they had not actually received a refund from Ryanair yet so they cannot refund us, Meaning our past conversations had been a lie. This operator then gave us an email address to request the refund from, we did this and still had no refund. We rang again and spoke to another operator who told us we were informed wrong and the refund will be with us in the next 7-10 working days, we asked for email confirmation of this due to the constant empty promises, the agent said he had sent one, however this never arrived. Today I have rang teletext today 4 times, being on hold each time for between 35-40 minutes then someone answering and hanging up the call. I do not recommend booking with these, they have no intention of refunding me at all.
