summary of the review: we tried to POSTPONE our holiday to Turkey as
I am on HIGH RISK category and just came out of self isolation in end of
September. (We booked our intended holiday in February before the COVID-19. )
As I am a diabetic patient who is insulin dependent and I have another autoimmune condition too, I was advised against any travelling.
Tried calling Teletext from 1st September. Our call were transferred to different department..put on hold for hours nobody answered the calls.
Eventually, they asked us to send an email to TELETEXT COVID-19 support team. We wrote them several emails attaching the GOVERNMENT self isolation letters as proof...and the reason to cancel our holiday.
We were supposed to leave to Turkey today 3rd October. And todayS news read that travellers arriving in the UK from TURKEY will have to self- isolate for 14 days from 04.00 on Saturday. Due to rising infection rate in Turkey.
Some Airlines have cancelled their flights To TURKEY and in the process of refunding the money to their customers.
My question here to MR. RICHARD is, Most OF THE BOOKINGS/HOLIDAYS HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO ABOVE REASON. AS OF TODAY.
Are you going to FULLY REFUND OUR MONEY.
I would like to mention here ....we have been booking holidays with TELETEXT for the past 4 years and never had any problems with them.
