First time in Carluke we were looking for a cafe for a coffee & snack. Town center there is no parking. ON GOOGLE MAPS I found Tesco, click on the website, look at the photos, click extra photos, I see that they have a cafe. They don't. Looking for an evening meal AFTER already being conned. Evening meal deal, "Main + Side + Dessert + Drink = £12. On the display it is straight forward until you get to the drink. In the display is bottles of coke, so you select a coke. Checkout, no bar code on the bottle of coke. Cashier confused, we're confused. Accused of opening a multi pack. Following customers are believing the cashier. I'm the bad guy. It transpires that the "DRINK" is a 4 pack of coke, although you do not have to break open ANY pack. You are able to pick up one bottle from the "multi pack" NO WHERE does it mention that the drink is a multi pack of 4. We ended up very embarrassed through no fault of our own. Your deal was very confusing and we should not have had this experience. Your website should also be clear that you DO NOT have a cafe. Now we know, we won't have to visit again, unless you can give us an incentive to do so.
