They use unethical and potentially fraudulent subscription systems. Tried to hike my subscription by 313% from £68 to £281, so I cancelled. Then I saw that I could get exactly the same deal on their website for £91 as a new member. This practice was outlawed by the FCA in 2021 but they have ignored this and bank on customers just accepting it.
Anyway, I joined the RAC instead at £50 for a superior service. I have been a member of the AA for 13 years but never called them out for any reason. So much for loyalty.
