Treated with contempt after 42 years membership. Offered a renewal with a 36% price hike, I contacted them 5 times and kept being told someone would look at the price and call back. I did get one call back at an inappropriate time but that was pointless as he said he couldn't do anything as 'the computers were down'. In my last conversation with a representative I was told they could 'see these notes on my file' and the policy was now cancelled. No interest in retaining my business and no customer service. I guess the AA is just another venture capital business now. I can't imagine how much business the AA has gained in 42 years from my recommendation, both in person and via the various car and motorhome club forums that I am involved with but no longer.
