“Brent Knoll school is a Cooperative Trust special school for children aged 4 -16 with complex social, communication and interaction difficulties including autism. Our pupils have been to The AHOY Centre to learn and to experience the fun and excitement that sailing on the River Thames brings. Their enjoyment of these activities is evident and leads to improved communication and self-confidence. We fully support AHOY’s vital work with disadvantaged and disabled children and more of our pupils will be taking to the water in 2016 to benefit from their programmes.”
