We bought a Kool Response mattress on 29th December last year. (£1200)Within a day or so we realised that something was wrong with it, it was like sleeping on a hammock. Husband then started sleeping on a airbed and did for at least 10 weeks! We went back to the Dartford shop (day 6 after purchase) and after several weeks managed to get them to send someone out to look at it, they put a string across the bed and the conclusion was there was nothing wrong with it. We tried to explain that you have to lay on it for a couple of hours then you sink. Went back to shop several times, had a visit from the rep from manufacturers they said nothing wrong. The only suggestion I had from the bedpost was that we could spend more money and swop the mattress. We wanted our money back or a straight swap without spending anymore money. The mattress is now on its side in my bedroom (I guess I will take it to the dump I can't sell it!), We bought a lovely mattress from Dreams £600. Won't be going back to this company. They are not even registered with the furniture ombudsman so we can't challenge them further.
