In the past,I have received great customer service from The Body Shop and have been very content with shopping there.
However, lately when I have gone to the body shop, I have received absolutely DREADFUL customer service that has made me certain I absolutely will not shop at The Body Shop EVER again!
One of the times I popped into the shop to ask a question about their products, to which I was answered very unhelpfully, disdainfully and with a sneer.
Another time (I got a bunch of items from their summer sale), I was told I could only spend around 5 minutes in the shop in future and again feel like I can not ask questions about their products.
This is a delayed review as I have also not been able to complain to The Body Shop as after searching their website for a way to contact them, I could only find a way where I would need to leave my e-mail.
When I leave my name with them I get anxious and feel like they are thinking badly of me. I understand that this is because they usually send a reply to get you to stay with them, but since I know I will not be supporting them again I just wanted to make an anonymous complaint so they can try to make sure this does not happen again.
This is a huge shame as I used to love the body shop, their moral selling point and their products (they especially made lovely presents), however, as customer service is something that is extremely important to me and another of their main selling points, this has completely ruined my view of the body shop, made me sure I will not shop there again and ruined my mood.
