MASSIVE choice of wines (inc popular brands) from all over the world at all sorts of low prices (we saved c £200 off UK prices with our spend of £500 for the wedding). It really helps if you know what you want but if you don't, English-speaking & British staff are friendly, knowledgeable & very helpful and there is a tasting room for just about anything they stock (you may have to ask for the more expensive wines to be opened). Make sure you take a designated driver AND spit it out anyway (else you very soon won't care that you don't know what you bought - which rather misses the point!). Only 20 mins drive from Eurotunnel terminal and if you spend £250, they will (currently) pay either ferry or Tunnel crossing - saved us a further £60.00 (in fact, as we spent just over £500, they gave us a second return crossing voucher, valid for 1 year). Easily managed in a day (from Wiltshire), albeit a long one with an early start. WILL go again.
