I once again made my annual visit to the Calais Wine Superstore which is a pleasurable experience. Having pre-0rdered my wine I saw their follow up article recommending a red Argentinian wine which I was eager to taste. The young girl in the tasting room was ever so helpful. She found the wine, poured me a taste, located more bottles in the store, carried them to my waiting order and found me a trolley to load it all on. Such a lovely helpful girl. I was then served my a very patient Irish guy at the checkout who somehow kept his cool despite us all queuing up with heavily laden trolleys. The store was very busy so we had to queue a while but so worth it for the splendid wines sampled when I got home and hosted a French fancy dress themed party to sample the wines and cheeses (bought in Cite Europe). I also met some lovely fellow Welsh people in the queue. Thank you Calais Wine Superstore for another fabulous experience. See you again next year (Brexit wiling!!).
